More than just tutus
Over the years I have made many dance costumes. Indi wore my costume at the Alana Haines Awards in New Zealand last year.

Stretch Tutus becoming increasingly popular
More recently I have been making a lot more stretch tutus particularly for the younger dancer. With the abundance of stretch fabrics available tutus can be made to look similar to their classical fabric counterpart. Here a couple of recently made stretch tutus..

Cream Stretch Ballet Tutu
This design would be ideal for Sleeping Beauty's Aurora wedding dance. The combination of the cream coloured lycra and gold & silver sequined lace gave a very soft feminine appearance.

One of my favourites...
This lace was exquisite - the customer purchased this lace & wanted to maximise it's use as well as being able to reuse it on another tutu in the future. I managed to achieve both requirements on a traditional boned tutu. Very happy customer!
Busy time of year!
Where has the year gone? I actually thought costume orders would slow down with families struggling to keep up with the economic times but I am pleased to say that the show still must go on. I have been fortunate enough to travel overseas this year and purchase some magnificent laces that I have incorporated into the tutus. Lots of happy faces with finished product.
